Support R.A.D. -Rescued Animal Drive

R.A.D. is a great non-profit animal rescue organisation in Helderberg & Grabouw as well as Botriver Township area’s who’s focus is saving animals, and providing them with the care they deserve, and lastly and most importantly finding them their perfect forever home where they can be loved and cared for.

Our Personal Experience with R.A.D.

Our family have had 2 successful adoptions of our dogs through RAD who have made the adoption process so easy and smooth. Our first adoption was Buddy in 2021 who was an 6 week old puppy who was found in Grabouw with his 2 other siblings and was lucky enough to be rescued by RAD, we adopted him when he was a adorable 8 week old puppy and he is now 3 years old, he is such a clever, happy and loving dog, he is such a big part of our family, here are his photo’s.

Our most recent adoption was now in March 2024 with Foxy (formerly known as “Fifi” with RAD), she was found in a drug house in Grabouw Township in February this year and was surrendered to R.A.D. She was a nervous dog with bad health conditions, including mange and parasites when they rescued her, and she had obviously survived many stressful experiences. Thanks to her RAD Foster Moms for taking such good care of her, she has transformed into a healthy dog filled with love. From the moment we brought her to our home 3 weeks ago she fitted into our family so well and has brought us so much love and joy.

Little Mojo is really living up to her name! She is the perfect puppy and she is very affectionate. Mojo would very much love to be part of the family, and we are sure you will love her when you meet her. Mojo is around 9 weeks old and is currently in the Grabouw area

If you’re looking for a friendly and soft natured pup to join your family please read about Cooper, on RAD Adoption page (link is above).

HENRY 🖤 was surrendered as unwanted this last week (beginning of July). He is only 12 weeks old and is a stunning Coonhound mix. He is in need of a forever family to call his own. He is a LOVELY and intelligent boy who will make a wonderful family addition. Good with other dogs and young enough with the right introductions to be good with cats. He will be decent middle sized gent when fully grown.

Rexie is a very very special boy, he just needs a chance 💔💔💔💔

His current foster mum says – “ Such a lovely dog. Not a bad bone in his body. Loves everyone and all his friends.

HONEYBEAN ❤️ is a cute little thing with a sweet personality, is a massive cuddle bunny, and would love to meet a person to call her very own. She is less than a year old and still a little shy but she is eager to meet new people and doggy friends, and loves her walks at the local dog park Radloff.
